Anna Hazare is detained. The country hastily reacts to a cute old man showing a great courage from last few months. Who is Anna Hazare? If asked, more than 60% may get it wrong. Last night, in the first episode of Kaun Banega Karodpati – Season 5, a gentleman had no clue that who is Kisan Baburao!
Kisan Baburao Hazare, is the full name of Anna Hazare. Starting with the name, take the Lokpal, Lokayukta and even the objective behind this protest, there might be fingers in mouth while answering the meanings of these terms.
“We must change the system!” – Which system? What system? These people who say it, they won’t have an idea what system they are talking about. Anna Hazare is not fighting to end the corruption. Amazed??? I am afraid, it is true. Anna Hazare originally initiated his fight to put the Lokpal Bill in the Parliament to be debated and to conclude the laws which can tackle the corruption cases. From as simple explanation of his presented bill, it turned into an agitated throw hole for all who wanted to take an advantage of this stage. Hundreds have misused the stage Anna had set for all these months to put the bill of his choice in Parliament. But those who wanted to misuse they made out an agenda to push the government down. May they get well soon!
Now, how? Anna has been insisting upon the weapon of fasting (Anshan). Many have suggested in their comments that why a Government should resist a peaceful and non-violent protest of Anna? Well, what is a peacemaker? Does a peacemaker ever raise the tone, raise the attitude and does he/she ever threaten the stake holders who expect the peace to prevail? Anna may be a holy soul, the spotless personality, the most hard working worker or the most noble human being but he is a little far from being a sensible decision maker and solution seeker! An IIT lad is the brain behind Anna Hazare. He needed a cute face to be presented to the Indian people who always refrain and rather do not trust the young politicians much. Anna was planted to sit of fast (the first occasion when he fasted for the Lokpal bill), everything has is living drama like the Facebook story line. No one expected what is going to happen and no one really even measured this kind of response when they started. Babas and Swamis roasted their rotis and many other politicians took a chance to get published in newspapers and TV channels.
Anna kept changing his stand, attitude, statements and even the agenda. He burnt the Lokpal draft of Government as well. Again, is it a peacemaker’s act? Anna is too naïve and got it all wrong what the fasting means? We must refer to this:
Gandhi distinguished between satyagraha and passive resistance in the following letter: ”I have drawn the distinction between passive resistance as understood and practiced in the West and satyagraha before I had evolved the doctrine of the latter to its full logical and spiritual extent. I often used “passive resistance” and “satyagraha” as synonymous terms: but as the doctrine of satyagraha developed, the expression “passive resistance” ceases even to be synonymous, as passive resistance has admitted of violence as in the case of suffragettes and has been universally acknowledged to be a weapon of the weak. Moreover, passive resistance does not necessarily involve complete adherence to truth under every circumstance. Therefore it is different from satyagraha in three essentials: Satyagraha is a weapon of the strong; it admits of no violence under any circumstance whatsoever; and it ever insists upon truth. Satyagraha has no place for violence. Anna’s way to insistence and threatening of fasting are forms of violence. “Give me this, or I will die (fasting)!” – is an utter violence. Fasting involves self-restrain, experiencing the gloom what others must be facing and the tone of request and plea. No eating and no drinking do not mean an Anshan (Protesting with Fast).
Not that the Indian government is the glass clean! It is also found to be over-reacting at some stages but Anna has to listen, talk, debate and understand a few more point of views. Government has 1000 more things to do than focusing on a crazy old nut who is threatening openly there and then.
There is nothing to conclude just yet, there is still more and a lot more to think and assess. One can contribute in this thinking and assessment process rather than jeopardizing the peace, order and law of the nation.

Why are you so negative about people trying to change something for good? Anna is trying to give you your India back from those corrupted assholes. Does it matter to you which he choses?

This person is not citizen of india. because i read this whole blog he favour of congress. this person didn’t see 2G scam, Kalmadi’s Scam, Adarsh Society Scam. every one accept even Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, Mr. Manmohan Singh accept this scam. and Anna Hazare try to explore and create rule for corruption people. and Govt totally afraid of anna and his supporter. i think this person or his family member definitely in any scam.

Dear Saccha Nagrik, you haven’t read my writing and you just made an assumption. Nowhere in the entire article I have mentioned that we should not have LokPal Bill. Neither I have said that we should not fight the corruption. Take a seat back and think, were there no rules before to fight corruption? Was taking or giving the bribe legal? No it never was.
Laws have to be there and they have to be strict. Got it! But tell me how many times you have parked your vehicle in NO PARKING. Tell me how many times you have followed the rules of traffic?
It is all about self-restrain, self-discipline and self-cleaning. So to start fighting with corruption, please do not pay that 50 rupee note to the cop, pay the full fine of 1500 rupees when you are not having license or you are not wearing helmet or whatever other offense. Please do that before you gain the right to speak a single word about fighting corruption.
Secondly, you are grossly speaking about all the scams and all. UPA government has been courageous enough to fire their own members in position when they are found guilty. So if you say that there were no scams in other governments, jump off the building now! You are living on Moon not on earth. I didn’t want to mention this but an apparent example of Amit Shah. He is still free even he was found guilty in fake encounter cases. Leave it, not going there for now.
And lastly, I have not mentioned that I am against the cause. But Anna’s fasting and protesting is misleading and he even doesn’t know. He is just a puppet with no depth strategy to steer this protest in a right way. Timing has been exceptionally wrong.
I am pin pointing this at a very different level. I couldn’t resist to write about it when the means of FASTING is used for blackmailing, be it Indian Government of anyone else. Fasting has a spiritual value, it has to be from within the heart.
To simplify and make you understand this easily, I am not against the cause, I am not with Congress of BJP. I said what I had to and I felt to.

Your points might be true! But mate, tell me one thing “Isnt he fighting for the right cause?”. Irrespective of who is taking lead or representing us, why not just join/support the cause and once the goal is achieved, the other issues can be sorted out later. Also, the way our government is reacting is totally unacceptable. I feel ashamed of myself when I say “India is a democratic country” which in reality is not. So, corruption and democracy is what we must fight for. I do not support any particular political party, but I donot want the present government to continue anymore. I am a common man earning 18k per month and I cannot meet all my daily requirements.
One more thing I would want to add is, the so called Gandhi family read Nehru family has been into politics for more than 60 years now. Have you ever thought “What inspires them to stay so long in politics despite getting their family members killed?”. They know that Indians are sympathetic and can be fooled for emotions. And I would never want an italian to interfere in my nation’s politics. That is ridiculous. Also, an uneducated person can never be.
Someone has rightly said “iss bharat mein kai bharat baste he” and it is because of some people (including you) that keep justifying who is right or wrong. Instead fighting for the same cause and sorting other issues later could be a possible solution.
With all due respect to Indian citizens, I apologize if my thoughts offend you, but I cannot take it anymore.

I have already clarified myself in a reply to dear Saccha Nagrik about my stand on the cause. Support the cause and not the individual. This fight has become a little individualistic. “Anna’s Bill” – there should be no such thing. There is a bill and it is Jan LokPal Bill. Will not elaborate much on this subject, you will be able to get what I intended to say.
If you do not want present government to continue you can surely speak up, spread your view. Politics is a synonym of game playing. Every party, every leader is after power and they will try to gain it at any cost, be it BJP, Cong or any other party. If you are being fooled by emotions you are a fool, I can’t help it. If other are getting fooled, help them. I am doing the same, I tried to do the same by posting this article.
Very important! You seem to be a little sane and understanding guy and I was surprised that you brought up the italian issue. There are more 3-4 Parliament members in UK Government, they sit in House of Commons (Parliament of UK), they participate in decision making, and developing policies. They are Indians. 2 of them are Gujaratis. I am proud of it and so is the UK. We should be open to the world, we should be accepting that the there should be no such boundaries. A lady who left her country to become a wife of an Indian man and lived in this country – does make her Osama Bin Laden. So I totally reject your argument.

I have not gone through full article but I read out first three paragraphs.
Third paragraph is

I would like to say something on this paragraph.
First sentence: – “We must change the system!” – Which system? What system? These people who say it, they won’t have an idea what system they are talking about.”
My view: – The name of peoples who are saying this is “Arvind kejariwal” and “Kiran Bedi”. I will request to the person who wrote this article, please study these people first and then say something.
Second sentence: – “Anna Hazare is not fighting to end the corruption. Amazed??? I am afraid, it is true.”
My view: – The Bill for which Anna started fighting is to stop corruption only. If you are not aware about the Bill then it is ok, other wise I have never seen the illogical statement like this.

My view: – This is not first time Lokpal Bill came in Parliament for discussion and to conclude the laws.

My view: – I don’t think so, only corrupted people won’t support this event because there own scams will come out after passing this BIL.
Fifth sentence: – “Hundreds have misused the stage Anna had set for all these months to put the bill of his choice in Parliament.”
My view: – Hundreds may misuse this but rest of Indian population 1,25,00,00,000 – 1000 = 1,24,99,99,000 will get advantage of this. Think about it.
Sixth sentence: – “But those who wanted to misuse they made out an agenda to push the government down”
My view: – Every body knows the existing ruling party in government is so down standard that new definition about down should be written.

We want India free from Corruption !!!! Anyone has to start Like 65 years it was Gandhiji who has changed the system……and now it is Anna along with Kiran Bedi to lead the Lokpall Bill movement.

First of all, it is not Anna’s path. Watch this video you will realize he doesn’t know anything beyond fasting. His (his team’s) way of doing is quite childish. I suggested the way to Amol yesterday. Start following the practice of non-corruption by yourself. Blog it, write it, tell people about it, inspire people about it.
It has to start from your own self!

As you have all rights, I have a right to say that is utterly a CIRCUS. I did not call your thoughts but I called your comments to my article have no base.
Secondly, MEDIA is the trader of news from ages. It is not a pillar anymore. There is only selling-buying happening. I have seen from very near distance that one interview on TV goest through a lot of money, hands and corruption. Media has just made it big otherwise there are 1000 Annas in only Gujarat who have been on fast, who have walked miles to ask for justice to the Government. No media notices these things because dirty govt of NARENDRA MODI does not let it happen.
Do you know about the huge movement against nuclear power plant? NO! Do you know about the movement for saving natural resources? NO! Do you know about the movement against illegal land distribution in Gujarat? NO.

U have full rights to say that they are playing CIRCUS as !!! But we are not stopping to say them what u feel !!! But u cant stop others also to do anything….what is circus for u it can be reverse also for them…….they may also feel that u are playing a circus…..If that Path was not achieved by him than still 4 to 5 corruption scandals may have come up which ultimately loss in out money…If it is successful than every common man will get the profit of it……it is for the Common people….
